Arsenal set to slip out of top four following derby defeat

Image
Arsenal offered little resistance to a rampant Chelsea side as they fell to a 3-1 hammering at the hands of their London neighbours. The big news however is that the top four spot which the Gunners have made their own for two decades could slip out of their grasp. A victory for Manchester City against Swansea tomorrow will see Arsene Wenger's men drop to fourth place, just one point ahead of Liverpool in fifth place and five points ahead of Manchester United who have a game in hand. That deficit will be reduced to just two points if the Red Devils come away with all three points in what will most likely be a tough away game at reigning champions, Leicester. With competition for Champions League places heating up, Arsenal will find it difficult to stave off intense pressure from the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool. The Gunners have finished inside the top four in each of Arsene Wenger's 20 years in charge at the club but will this be the year they fall short?

It's not true that our borders aren't safe' - Angelina Jolie reacts to Trump's travel ban

Image
Actress Angelina Jolie in a recent op-ed for the New York Times has weighed in on President Donald Trump's immigration ban, accusing him of ignoring facts about how refugees get into the U.S.     "It is simply not true that our borders are overrun or that refugees are admitted to the United States without close scrutiny. Refugees are subject to the highest level of screening of any category of traveler to the United States' she wrote. Angelina works with the UN's High Commissioner for Refugees. She's also adopted 3 children born outside the country and she says she understands security from terrorism is of the utmost importance, but thinks "our response must be measured and should be based on facts, not fear." In the article, she never mentions Trump by name, but says she'd want any president to work with people of all faiths around the world to make all nations more secure.

'US & South Korea are plotting nuclear war against us'- North Korea alleges as US strongly warns N.Korea

Image
The tensions between the U.S and North Korea keeps on escalating, and show no signs of slowing down as North Korea has accused the U.S of plotting with South Korea to attack North Korea with Nuclear weapons. North Korea's allegations comes after just a day after newly appointed US Defense Secretary James Mattis arrived in South Korea and pledged to deploy THAAD -- the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system -- to protect South Korea and friends of America from Kim Jong-Un's nuclear bomb threats. Kim Jong Un's regime in the early part of 2016 carried out nuclear missile tests but since Donald Trump's presidential election win and eventual resumption of duties, Kim has been quiet with his nuclear test plans. According to statements by the National Peace Committee of North Korea, reported by the official Korean Central News Agency, the U.S and South Korea's desire to deploy the THAAD, has put the two countries on the brink of nuclear war with North Korea.
